Thanks to the generous funding from The Health Lottery (West Midlands) and The People’s Health Trust, we have the opportunity to bring together women from various backgrounds to share in a day of motivation, inspiration, and mutual support. Our aim is to create a safe, nurturing environment where survivors can find comfort in shared experiences and learn from each other’s journeys towards recovery and self-discovery.
Meet Our Esteemed Host, Uju Okonkwo
Leading this session is the multi-skilled and exceptionally talented Uju Okonkwo, whose work with BAME survivors of domestic violence has not only changed lives but has also brought light to the shadows of despair. Uju brings a wealth of experience, empathy, and understanding to this event, ensuring that every participant feels heard, valued, and inspired to embrace their potential.
