Housing Support Worker
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: £11.90 per hour
As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our tenants maintain their homes and lead fulfilling lives. You will work directly with tenants, supporting them in their housing journey and connecting them to valuable community resources.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to tenants, helping them sustain their tenancies.
- Assist tenants with understanding their tenancy agreements, including rent and anti-social behaviour policies.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks in tenant accommodations.
- Coordinate with landlords and contractors to organise property repairs and maintenance.
- Help tenants access opportunities such as education, training, and community activities.
What We’re Looking For:
We need someone organised, compassionate, and ready to take initiative. You must have a full driving licence and your own vehicle, as you may need to travel locally. Experience in housing or social care is desirable but not essential.

Volunteer Support Worker
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Zero Hours Contract
If you’re looking for a flexible role where you can give back to the community, this position is for you. As a Volunteer Support Worker, you’ll assist the Refuge Manager in the day-to-day running of our safe housing for women and children.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of our refuge properties.
- Help organise social, recreational, and educational activities for tenants.
- Provide administrative support, including managing tenancy agreements and rent collection.
- Work with social services and other agencies to ensure tenants receive the care they need.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking someone who is empathetic, organised, and ready to support women and children in rebuilding their lives. Previous experience in a similar role or an understanding of domestic abuse is a bonus.
