We were happy, once upon a time,
Two lovebirds in our own fantasy,
Sharing each moment with one another.
Our love, a bond, stronger than steel!
You smiled a lot, more than most
But you didn’t smile around me
You didn’t need to,
As there was an understanding between us –
Mutually, of course, that around me it was
Safe, defended, protected. You never had to worry
Because I would do everything in my power to
Protect you, to protect what was mine, and yet
You distanced yourself from us, from me
You disappeared, just like that. Snap!
Well, you were still there, but you were gone
But I loved you, so I searched for you and found you…
With him?! But you were for me, you were mine!
And yet you still took, no you stole my heart
But I didn’t let that stop me from loving you
And I know you loved me down to the very last moment.
I didn’t want to do what I did,
But you turned me into a monster,
You made me do it,
YOU MADE ME DO IT!
